Crazy, Busy week!!!

It's been a while since i've posted! i've been super busy! So i don't cook much, mostly because we arent in our house yet so im never home. but i baked cup cakes for my Managers birthday. Noooo, they dont look half as good as yours Emily but the frosting is to die for. so the recipe for the frosting is

Ingredients

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 cup white sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
Directions

In a small bowl beat whipping cream until stiff peaks form; set aside.
In a large bowl combine cream cheese, sugar, salt and vanilla. Beat until smooth, then fold in whipped cream.
This recipe makes ALOT i usually cut it in half




This week was the last week of Ben's high school hockey. they took 2nd place and did awesome! i wasn't able to go to the final game tonight because of the Beaver hockey game and unfortunately they lost :( Ben did get an awesome goal though in one of the games! Mandi my sister got an awesome picture of him scoring!



Another fun thing that happened this week was Ben's last science fair project! (i swear he already feels like a brother.....weird)!!! His was on how quick the brain reacts to hearing and seeing and which was faster! we put the project together in one night! but it did take till 5 o'clock in the morning!!! i was beat the next day! but here's the finished product!



Beavers had a hockey game tonight.... unfortunately they lost 5 to 0... Nick played pretty well we were just missing alot of players (because of high school hockey) it was a terrible game. The leader of the team Blake had some guys come after him tonight and got suspended for fighting (which was ridiculous because it was 2 guys punching him) it got to the point where i just wanted to leave. haha i had a few words with the guy that runs the league tonight and it paid off because they took off the fighting call on Blake! now he's only suspended for a game!

Anyone that knows me somewhat well knows that i LOVE hockey.... Nick and I go to every grizzly game we possibly can! Well... lately we've been slacking with the wedding planning and my work schedule and stuff! so we finally got to go again last night! It ended up being the night that Nicks dad Bob took the young mens to the game! so we went to the game with the young mens! haha weird to say but it was a TON of fun. Nicks nephew Cyle and his friend Monica came too! (i was happy cause i hate always being the ONLY girl ha) we had so much fun! it was good to have a

day to relax too!

Earlier in the day Jen and I went to the Sego Lily spa and got full body massages.... and let me tell you IM SO ADDICTED! it feels soooo good! Next time we go will be the day before my wedding and im super excited! That 2nd and 3rd week in May is going to be sooo amazing... im sooo excited! but i'm most excited to be sealed to the person that treats me like a princess and loves me with all his heart :) i love my fiancé!!!

New Blog!

Soooo... i thought maybe i should make a blog account to update everyone on whats going on in my life because there's so many things changing and im growing up so fast! I'm new at this so please don't laugh at how lame my page is! haha

Nick and I got engaged on Christmas of 09'! i was super excited and Nick did so awesome at picking out my ring! He did it all on his own and picked the ring out by himself! He must know me pretty well cause i don't think he could have found a better one!!

May 7th 2010 is the big day and we're soooo excited! We've done so much already and i'm proud of myself cause usually i'm a huge procrastinator! Mostly all we have left to do is decorating junk. And if you know me i think it'll be easy but i'm not too great at the creative thing! SO... its probably going to be the part thats the most stressful!

Nick and I got ALL of our pictures done in these past 2 weeks! Last friday we got our engagements taken and i swear im cursed because the weather was beautiful the day before and the day after but for some reason it was all gloomy and rainy the day we went to get them done so we ended up having to do it in studio : / i wasn't too excited about the in studio thing but after they took the pictures i realized they were going to be wayyyy cute! Saturday the 13th i did my bridals and it was soo weird to see my self with the veil on and everything! It all the sudden became so real that we're getting married in 3 months! I ended up having to do my bridals in studio too because of the stupid rain! I'm so ready for summer to be here already!

As far as the Honeymoon planning goes, its finished! and i'm most excited for that!! (i bet you can guess why ;) haha jk ) we're going to ARUBA on our honeymoon and i'm most excited for that! this is my first time leaving the country and i'm a little nervous but super excited!

well... i should probably be getting to bed and i hope you all liked my rambling on about my wedding plans haha i'll keep you posted on how all the other planning is going!!! I love you all!
