Vaughns 50th

on the 17th we had Vaughns surprise 50th birthday party!

He was so surprised and we all had such a fun time!

we had an open mic time and anyone that had a fun story or something to say to vaughn talked!

Afterward we watched a slideshow Nick made of Vaughns life and it had clips of family wishing him a happy birthday!

Dad's puppy

For my dad's birthday we surprised him with an Aussie!

he LOVED it! he has been wanting a puppy for ever and mom finally said we could get him one!

He was so surprised!

We had a surprise party planned for him on the 17th but we didnt want to make him feel like we forgot it because we didnt do anything :) little did he know :)

so we made cupcakes and ate pizza and surprised him with the dog.

then St. Patricks day came..... the day of the party....

Alexei's 9 months!

Alexei has been growing up so quick!

Shes crawling everywhere and she'll be walking here soon. She loves to stand and let go of things! She's such a sweetie... i have such a perfect little daughter :)

This is Alexei at my sister in law Liz's house! we went there with Mark and Julie for sunday dinner together. It was such a blast. They played the wii, played speed basketball in the house, played games and ate pizza... such a fun time.

Alexei loves taking baths. She likes to play with the shampoo bottle more than her bath toys! shes such a silly little lady!!

I'm so blessed to be this little girls mom. She's such a special girl and everytime she says "mama" it just melts my heart.

I love her more than life itself! :)

Boise February 2012

i know, i know i've been terrible at updating the blog... but A LOT has been going on in my life and wheres the time? haha

We went up to Boise Idaho to see my Grandpa and Grandma Call and my uncle Ben & Aunt Glenda. We had such a good time. We were going to head up there on Monday the 20th after Nick got off work but it started snowing and we didnt want to drive in the dark... so we headed up on Tuesday morning. Alexei did really well with the drive! she slept alot of the way and then we turned on Mickey Mouse and she just watched her movie!

Alexei was so happy to get out of her car seat. She loved playing with all the kids and all of the open space in my Grandma's front room...

Alexei had a hard time going to sleep. At home we feed her, put her in her bed with her blanket and stuffed animals and she goes to sleep on her own. Well we didnt have her crib in Boise, just a play pen so she ended up falling asleep on me...but i didnt mind :)

[not to mention she had just poped one tooth up top and she had 2 others coming in]

The next morning my cousin Sami and I went shopping! we had so much fun together!

That night we went to the Grizzlies vs. Steelheads game there in Boise... it was a great game!

The only grizz fans in the house!

Alexei loved doing her little dance and watching the game... she also love the dip n dots that Nick bought me :) hahah

The grizzlies were up a few goals and then they let up and the Steelheads scored to tie up the game.

The game ended in a shoot out and the Grizz won! Such a great game to go to! even though we were the only happy fans! :)

After the game we went to my uncle Ben's house. He has a Tropical Sno shack in the summer and if you know me, im obsessed with tropical sno. i would get it in the middle of the winter... i'm so jealous of my uncle bens tropical sno machine! i think i had 1 too many snowies that night :)

The next day we had to come home... Our weekend ended way to quickly... i really really need and want a longer break than a few days!

We had so much fun and cant wait to go back up there. its been too long and we enjoy hanging out with the Call's so much.
